
Resin 3D-printed Miniature Models
using conventional methods. Resin printing enables the production of thin, curved sails, internal guide vanes, impellers, ducts, hubs, rings, and generator mounts with repeatable geometry.
These small models are not meant to be final commercial wind turbines. They are engineering test articles.

The small scale makes it easier to observe problems, make design changes, and print the next version. A prototype can be redesigned, printed, assembled, and tested without the cost and delay of full-size fabrication.
This process is especially valuable because wind power is highly sensitive to geometry. Small changes in clearances, vane angles, blade pitch, surface drag, and generator load can make a large difference in performance.
